The Vantrue Sonnet 1 Pro (S1 Pro) is a front dash cam for commuters, new drivers and families adding a camera to a second car. It records what you see in 2.5K (2592 x 1944) through a 158° lens that covers several lanes. The small body sits behind the rear-view mirror, and the lens turns 360° so it can be aimed after mounting. A rear camera can be added later for front and rear coverage.

Clear footage at night and in glare
A Sony STARVIS 2 sensor records clean low-light video. HDR balances bright and dark areas at tunnel exits, in oncoming headlights and in harsh sun. PlatePix helps keep licence plates readable in strong backlight and low light. An optional CPL filter (sold separately) cuts windshield glare and reflections on sunny days.
Alerts that help a newer driver
Vantrue Intelligence adds AI driver alerts that warn of hazards on the road ahead. For a new driver still learning to scan the road, an extra warning can help them notice a hazard sooner. The alerts support good habits but don't replace mirror and shoulder checks.
Parking protection
The 24-hour parking mode includes collision detection, motion detection with adjustable settings, and energy-saving recording. Up to 15 seconds of footage before an event is saved, so the lead-up to a parking lot bump is captured. 24-hour parking mode needs a hardwire kit to keep the camera powered with the engine off.
LTE connectivity · coming soon
Optional LTE module — coming soon, sold separately. With it installed, owners get remote live view, GPS tracking, geofencing, cloud storage and incident alerts. Parents can see where the family car is and get an alert on their phone if something happens while it's parked. Clips can be saved to cloud storage as well as the memory card.
GPS, Wi-Fi and easy updates
Built-in GPS logs route, speed and location for insurance claims. Wi-Fi and the free app let you view and share clips, change settings and install over-the-air updates. Multilingual voice commands keep hands on the wheel, and the clock adjusts itself for daylight saving time in North America. A supercapacitor handles heat and cold better than a battery, and the camera takes microSD cards up to 512GB.
Buying and installing in Langley
VisionSure installs the S1 Pro in Langley with the wiring hidden behind the trim and headliner. Parking mode needs a hardwire kit, which we can fit during the same visit. We provide an 18-month warranty and local support after the sale. Sold separately: rear camera, LTE module (Coming Soon), hardwire kit, CPL filter.
