The VisionSure VST-S4901 Boom-Tip Wireless Zoom Camera System is a boom tip camera system for cranes and boom trucks. When the load is out of sight or the hook is far above the cab, the operator relies on a signal person, and or a radio. This system puts a 30x zoom camera at the boom head and sends 1080P video wirelessly to a 10.1” touchscreen at the operator’s eye line. The operator can see the hook, the load and the landing spot themselves. Integrated AI pedestrian detection gives safety alerts when a person is in the lifting zone.
With 30x optical zoom and a further 5x digital zoom, the camera goes from a 57.69° view of the work area to a 2.2° view of the hook. Autofocus keeps the picture sharp as the load moves. The 1/2.9” 1080P sensor gives a clear image from 5 to 200m. This crane hook camera can follow the load all the way to the landing spot.
Video travels over 2.4GHz FHSS (frequency-hopping) digital wireless, with a range of up to 300m and latency from 130ms. The cameras pair once and reconnect on their own each time the system powers up. With the optional 25,000mAh magnetic battery, the camera rides on the telescoping section with no cable at all. This wireless crane camera has nothing to snag, pinch or reel in.
Operators zoom with a foot pedal or a dash-mounted control switch, so they don’t have to let go of the levers in the middle of a lift. The touchscreen also has a zoom slider, near and far focus, and one-touch autofocus. These are handy for setting up the view before the lift starts, then leaving the zoom to the pedal or switch.
The zoom camera is sealed to IP69K against water and dust and rated for 5.9G vibration. It handles weather, washdowns and the knocks of a moving boom. It operates from -20°C to +70°C. The included 130° wireless IR camera has a built-in heater for cold mornings and can be mounted wherever a second view helps the operator.
IR-CUT night vision switches on after dark and reaches up to 50m on the zoom camera. On-screen target tracking can keep a selected object in frame. One touch records all channels to a microSD card of up to 128GB, with time stamps and loop overwrite. Footage plays back on the monitor in multi-view or single-view.

The VisionSure VST-C3574 HD Wireless Zoom Camera is the 30x zoom camera for crane boom tips used in the VST-S4901 system. From the cab, the hook and load can be 60m or more away, too far for a fixed wide-angle camera to show any detail. The VST-C3574 zooms from a wide view of the work area down to the hook and sends 1080P video wirelessly to the monitor, so no video cable runs down the boom.
See detail from 5 to 200 metres: A 1/2.9" 1080P sensor with 30x optical zoom, plus 5x digital zoom, covers a horizontal view from 57.69° wide down to 2.2° telephoto.
