The VisionSure VST-S8401 8CH AI Mobile DVR System is a fleet camera system for managers who need to see their vehicles while they’re on the road. Most recorders only show what happened once the vehicle is back in the yard. The VST-S8401 records up to eight 1080P cameras, runs AI driver and pedestrian warnings, and sends live video, location and alarms over 4G. A 12-channel ultrasonic system covers the close-range gaps that cameras can miss.
See what led up to an event
The mobile DVR records eight 1080P analog HD channels with H.264/H.265 compression. 15-second pre-recording means each event clip starts before the trigger, so the lead-up is saved as well as the impact. Footage goes to a 2TB SSD plus a 512GB SD card. Camera count and placement are configured for each vehicle, up to eight channels.
Warnings for the driver at every speed
ADAS and DMS driver fatigue monitoring run at highway speed. At low speed, BSD pedestrian detection covers the front, sides and rear of the vehicle. The system switches between these AI functions on its own, based on the driving situation. The driver doesn’t have to change settings between the highway and a tight pick-up.
Watch the fleet live from the office
4G, Wi-Fi and GPS send live video, location and alarm reports to the CMSV6 or Wialon fleet platforms. JT808 protocol and an open API let the system connect to other software. A web client runs on Windows, Android, macOS and iOS, so a supervisor can check a vehicle from a desk or a phone.
Close-range coverage around the vehicle
The included 12-channel HD ultrasonic obstacle detection system adds sensors around the vehicle body, rated to 8m. They warn of objects in the close-range areas that cameras alone can miss, such as a bollard at a rear corner or a bin beside the cab. The driver hears the warning before the vehicle gets close.
Every event captured
Recording starts on motion, G-sensor impact, overspeed, any of six alarm inputs, the panic button and AI warnings. Two alarm outputs plus a buzzer can drive external lights or alarms. Each event is flagged, so the office can find it and review it remotely instead of scrolling through hours of video.
Connects to the rest of the vehicle
RS232, RS485, two CAN ports, Ethernet and USB connect a wide range of onboard devices. These include radar, OBD, TPMS, fuel, temperature, door and weight sensors. The control box is sealed to IP69K and operates from -20°C to +70°C on 10–32V DC. It can go in a dusty, wet or washed-down vehicle.
